It was incredible! I loved the amount of snow and powder. The crowds were great for such a high ranked resort, and there was so much awesome backcountry terrain. Awesome trees for skiing in. Plus the resort and the views are beautiful. I will definitely continue going there. This is definitely a ten out of ten resort.

I can’t help but loving solitude. I had so much fun and good memories here. It’s a magical mountain.

The UDOT requirement is usually 4x4 OR chains on a big snow day. You should be fine with AWD/4WD provided the tires are good. (I've seen an AWD Subaru get stuck because it had poor tires.)
I don't know the answer to that question, however i am sure someone will. What i can tell you though... After years of spending time at each resort, you would be better off devoting 2 full days at each place. That will save you lots of traversing back and forth. There is plenty to get to on each hill and you don't want to waste time bouncing back and forth. Hope you have a great time... And get some powder days!
Rentals, repairs, help with sizing, and fitting bindings are all available at the lodge just by the moonbeam lift
The resort itself is open year round. Ski season typically ends near the end of April
We have restaurants, dining, a convenience store, and lodging - but do not have locker rooms and showers for guests that aren't lodging with us.
You can call and ask. But I would most definitely guess they would.
You sure can. You just have to believe in yourself.
It depends on many people are in the car. $20 for 1-2 occupants $10 for 3 occupants $5 for 4+ occupants https://www.solitudemountain.com/discover-solitude/getting-here
I'd email the resort. I'm sure they have groups besides ski school that ski together. As a matter of fact I think you can ski with a group with a patroller.
You can ski down the SolBright trail (no skating or pushing required) to the gate to access Brighton.
No they open middle of November.
Sorry about the untimely reply. For what it's worth, the lifts began running at 10 am.
Silver Fork Lodge is fantastic, and they have a complimentary shuttle for their guests. Food is also excellent.
