My wife and I live in Mapleton, Utah and often go to the Cafe Rio in Springville. We have become accustomed to the slow service and rude employees. (Long lines and multiple employees standing around talking to one another and on phones while only one person helps the customers). HOWEVER, recently we have gone a number of times between 8pm and 9pm and they have been out of food. Well tonight my wife and I went there at 9:00pm and asked for the coconut shrimp tacos. The guy just looks at me and says he's out. No problem, I'll just get a sweet pork quesadilla. "No all we have is steak". So I got a steak quesadilla. Come to find out they don't have any large tortillas so the guy puts one small handful of cheese on it and puts this dry, burned looking steak on the tortillas. Then I ask for rice and beans. He puts 2 tablespoons of beans on the plate because... Get this! They are out of beans. I'll break it down for you, all that was available was rice, small dried out tortillas, steak, the habanero salsa, a ton of lettuce, and brown guacamole. The counter was covered in dried up food all around. $16 and a drive home later and my wife is eating the dryest quesadilla with burned dried steak and unmelted cheese. Maybe it was the Halloween special... Scary food! Going to Taco Bell next time🤮🤢

Been here a couple times… the food is mid. Rice was wayyyy to salty I couldn’t finish my meal. It hurt to eat.

I noticed that some tables are closed to maximize social distancing, sanitizer is provided, and plexiglass has been installed to protect the workers. Some customers do not wear masks.
