Sensebellum

The Darrington Bluegrass Music Park is such a true gem of an outdoor venue - quite possibly the best in all of the Pacific Northwest! It was also the place for the legendary "Summer Meltdown Music Festival" of which Sensebellum was honored to be a part of from 2012 - 2019. Some of the best attributes of the venue are of course the camping in the trees, immediate river access, as well as the wonderful amphitheater and clean grounds. It was at such a wonderful setting that our team was able to exhibit many types of interactive art and immersive installations ranging from multi-sensory art to full on geodesic domes! It was always a highlight of the summer and was so special to see so many people enjoy the location and our art. Many thanks to the venue grounds keepers and also the staff at Summer Meltdown!

Wow what a music venue. It's breathtaking view of Whitehorse mountain is unimaginable. I can't recommend this highly enough. Perfect RV dry camping for the bluegrass festival. They even have delicious food on site. Our only wish would be for good bathrooms that are not porta potty, however they do have some electrical hookup sites.

One of the better venues I worked at this past year. Great camping if you can scope out the right spot and definitely worth checking out the river and it’s many access points. Try to find the secret spot. It’s a little bit further up than most people go and it’s not marked so just look for an opening through the bush that has a steep dirt path down.
