Service was good but the food was not. Ordered oysters and the ice was completely melted by the time it was served so the oysters were sitting in water. Burger for the kids was ordered medium but was well done when served. My $8 beer was served in a plastic cup. The renovations are really nice and the atmosphere is great but the food is extremely sub-par, especially given how much they charge. This place has real potential but will not be going back any time soon.

Food was ok, nothing special, but not bad. For the price I expected better. The restaurant looks nice and service was fine they were busy so I don't knock it down any for having to wait quite a while for dessert menu and check. Despite being busy the food came out fairly quickly.

Our waitress was excellent in the food was really delicious. Only gripe is it feels pretty overpriced.

First time in the recently renovated Skippers. They spared no expense and the place is beautiful inside. Especially the bar side of the restaurant. The food has always been good, but now it’s first rate. The tuna nachos, French onion soup, burger and fish & chips were all great and exactly how you want them to be at a restaurant & pub by the water in a quaint area like Northport Village. Service was great as our server is a local that has worked there for years. When you’re wishing you were in Greenport, Newport or Edgartown, head to Skippers for lunch and dinner to scratch your water-side, summer retreat restaurant itch.
