Did the ride along, Incredible experience!! People were great, process was very easy, and the ride- amazing. I don't know if we actually got up to 160mph, but it was fast and the tricky triangle is an awesome track.

Casual/professionalism. That's my label for this experience. Everyone we were involved with throughout the day was relaxed but, knowledgeable. Everyone was happy. I think it had to do with the average age of those on staff...they themselves had a few years of experience. We did the three lap ride along first to get a feel for what it was like, then drove the 20 mile circuit. Felt safe and secure all day. Loved the car's responsiveness. Handled like it was glued to the track. Our lead driver quickly recognized that me and my son-in-law were drivers that were ready to go and after a few warm-up laps he let us run! A ridiculous amount of fun and adrenaline. Great staff, great experience. We will be back.

I paid close to $400 for the 10 mile drive and was the third car in the group. The instructor drives based on the second car and the guy was so slow and would totally drop way down in speed in the turns that it left me frustrated. I was penalized because the guy in front of me was afraid to push the pedal down. He also slammed on the brakes entering the pit ( you can hear his car squeal on the video ). At one point on a straight away, it felt like we slowed down to 60 mph to let 5 other cars pass. I wish I was put in a different group. I can’t really afford to waste another $400 for another disappointment.

Yes, registration begins 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
We have both free and paid spectator areas, our free area is on ground level right behind Pit Lane and our paid spectator area is in the Club Pocono Grandstands on the inside of the race track next to Pit Lane. So yes, we do have Grandstand seating available but our guests do not have access to the main Grandstands on the outside of the race track due to us operating on the inside of the track.
Our Stock Car Drive & Ride Experiences take place on Pocono Raceway's 2.5 Mile Super Speedway.
Hi Shari, training/orientation is about an hour long. Training starts in a classroom setting where you watch 2 videos and an instructor goes over information and answers questions. Next you'll head to one of the stock cars in the garage and be given an overview of the car. Last you'll take 2 laps around the track in a 15-passenger van for track orientation. Then you're all set to go, you'll get suited up and wait your turn to drive!
To Drive the stock cars; Yes, valid license, 18 years or older and the ability to drive a manual/stick shift transmission. To Ride Along; No, but you must be 14 years or older.
For our Stock Car Experiences, as long as any damage is not a result of reckless conduct or negligence than you are not responsible.

We do indeed offer an experience where you can drive your own car on the 2.5 Mile Superspeedway. For more info on that experience visit: https://877stockcar.com/experiences/drive-your-own-car/ There are other groups that rent the track and offer track days on the road courses as well. Calling Pocono Raceway, 1-800-Raceway, would be best bet at finding the right information on other groups.

Hello! We provide everything you need; training, race car & all equipment. Yes, a fire retardant suit is required and supplied but you may bring your own equipment. The helmet must be at least SA2010 with hans device clips and the suit must be at least a SFI 3.2A/1 rating single layer.
Passengers are not allowed in the cars with other participants. Your grandson, if 14 years or older, could Ride Along with one of our instructors that day though.
