We love spending a day at the waterfront. Fun spray park for the kids, and a nice view. Some decent restaurants but not a lot of shopping. The Ruston market has potential to be really cool. Just wish the parking wasn't such a nightmare.

Love to go hiking 🥾 in this area, super clean, next to the water, plenty parking, restaurants, tricycle renting, ice cream place and a huge cinema all in one. Not saying about the Mount Rainier view when is a sunny day :) amazing

I love the feel of Point Ruston. One of my favorite places and the views never disappoint, especially when skies are clear and there is a view of Mt. Ranier.

Beautiful family friendly place! Tons of stuff to do. Nice little shops , a lot of restaurants, the best ice cream shop and a movie theater. The trail is awesome for running, biking and walking. There is a bike and scooters rental so you can get everything you need right there! They have a waster splash for kids . Great place for a family day or a date night !

There will be a barge in Commencement Bay and you can see the fireworks from everywhere along Schuster Parkway. Be aware the roads are all closed so you will have to walk to Pt Ruston from where ever you find a place to park. Pearl is also closed.
