We booked 2 days before our arrival, and received a confirmation email that the booking was accepted. We heard nothing further and when we tried to check in - no code, no answer to our calls for 3 hors of repeated trying. Finally at 6pm we get a message that they are overbooked and no help whatsoever in trying to help us!!! We booked for 6 nights - they should at least have said if they could accommodate us the next day… but NOTHING!!! Unbelievable, we had to run around to try to find a place for the night when they could have told us earlier that there was a problem 😫😫 So disappointed!!

This remains my FAVORITE place to stay in South Florida. They continue to add more amenities and personal touches to make everyone feel right at home. KUDOS to the moon and back for Nicolas and all the staff here!! Disregard those spoiled unapprreciative posters who wish to say negative things about Southwinds...they are merely Debbie Downer types...We've all had some in our lives!

Beware!!! We arrived everything seemed clean and in order however we woke very early to catch a flight and when I walked into the bathroom I stepped on something I turned on light it was a ROACH I then woke my husband and we turned on the lights and what do ya know more roaches!!! Very disappointing and disgusting.
