Very cool little diner with a grunge rock flare and a great breakfast menu. I loved the atmosphere, from the layout, to the pinball machine in the corner, to the checkered tile, to the concert posters over each table. We were told it had been there since 1929. Very cool. The food was very good, and reasonably priced (for Seattle). We had the Chicken & Biscuits, and Sausage & Grits. The grits were cheesy and delicious. The only issue I had with the place was that our waitress/hostess had an attitude with us the minute we walked in. And not just us, but everyone who came in. She came off very negative and agitated. It made for an awkward dining experience. Other than that, it was a good place.

Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious (especially french toast). Only problem was the table size. A little too small for complete comfort. But would definitely come back with less stuff (umbrellas, backpack, jackets)

As the descriptions say, it is a dive bar, but it was worth the dive. The staff was personable and nice. The food arrived quick and was delicious. It was suggested by the hotel staff to pay a visit, it was well worth the time to heed his words. Only downfall, seats are a bit cramped for my liking, but it has definitely earned it's iconic status to me.

The phone was broken for two days but was fixed today. It gets answered when it’s not busy. The receptionist ran away with he matre d’ and the sommelier od’d. We’re trying to get it together but having a rough go of it.
The bar is open from 6am to 2am every day. We do have a couple of great ciders.
