I have doctors orders for the steroid ejections for my neck. This place claimed I needed to do a pre consultation per my insurance provider who they claimed to have called and talked to and refused to cover the injections. . I contacted my insruance company. They have not been contacted or talked to any one from this pain clinic. My mri has the report on the mri cd. And doctors orders were given to them. Any other info they would need would be on the new patients form. Why lie about contacting my insurance. They just want to collect a extra co-payment visit. I refuse to go to a place that outright lies about contacting my insurance company. My insurance company said they might need some more Info before the injections. Which would be the doctors orders. Which I gave to the pain clinic. But they would never reject the coverage of services by phone. Liars.....

I went for a consultation based on referral in March for an epidural. Before I agreed to consultation I was assured that the clinic is out of network but would be treated as in network and I would only have to pay copay. I paid copay at the time of visit. No further imaging or tests were done or ordered. I was told I would received a call from them to schedule the procedure once insurance had approved it. I hadn’t heard from anyone since, no follow up, not even a call to assure anything was in order or check on my status, and today I receive a bill from them for the consultation beyond my copay amount. Not sure why the dishonesty. Buyer beware.
