Quilted Strait is my favorite quilt shop in WA. There are other stores I love too, but this one always leaves me feeling inspired and ready to tackle a new project…or 5. I love the brightness and open feeling of the shop and the layout is easy to navigate and see everything. The wonderful employees are always willing to stack my finds and cut for me, share about quilt shows and festivals coming up and offer expertise on nearly every topic, including where to grab some lunch. This is a MUST VISIT shop.

What a fun wonderful quilt shop. Beautiful fabrics, all the supplies you need plus stuff for embroidery, felting, etc. Really a treat if anybody quilts- stop in, plus Port Gamble is a step back in time.

The first thing that is said when you walk in the door is not a welcome or hello, it is “put on a mask or show your vaccination card.” Before I could finish putting on my mask, which is faster than getting my vaccination card out of my wallet, I was informed my little granddaughter would need a mask too. They didn’t ask how old she is, just that she needs a mask. I told the rude lady who greeted me without so much as a hello, that I don’t need to buy anything from a store that needs a very small child to wear a mask, and we left. I WAS a frequent customer of Quilted Strait. Today was the last time I will have stepped through the door. Never again.
