Off the beaten path but seeked out by many, Bakers candies will have you coming back for more. Their handmade chocolates are to die for. They also sell local Nebraska products. There’s even a sugar-free area. Since they enlarged it is well worth the drive.

We do have assorted seconds as well as the individual flavors; however, inventory is dependent on which flavors we run on any given day and how many unwrapped meltaways we produce as a result of paper changes, machinery failures, etc.. Thanks Timothy Kroll for helping out!
Maryann- the sponge candy sold in our Greenwood, NE outlet store is manufactured by the Arway Candy Company and comes directly from the manufacturer.
They have all forms of chocolate and all percentages of coca levels. I would call to confirm if they have the specific flavors you are looking for
Sorry Wanda- there is a national shortage of the anise flavoring used to make black jelly beans- we can't find it/them anywhere. We can't get black jelly beans of any kind right now- so sorry!

Bridget- you bet- In Omaha you can find our meltaways at your corner Walgreens, Hy-Vee, Hallmark, or Wohlners grocery!
I don't sale anything,but Bakers does.
Sorry, we don't have winter wonderland... just a gigantic candy store with lots to see. That being said, it would make a wonderful family memory/tradition to make a road trip to Greenwood to come and see us!
Walgreens next Baker's sale begins Friday (10/18/19)! Generally they will run the sale one week/month leading up to Christmas... however, Walgreens does not release their sale dates until the week of... so stay posted!
Didn't see Amy "tour "notices. You can watch them make the candy. Could possibly call them and ask. The number is on the website. Blessings!
Yes they do.
Diane, most of our Nebraska Hy-Vee stores do carry the large "pound" bags of the assorted chocolate meltaways. If your local store is not currently carrying them it's likely that they are out and have not re-ordered yet- we've got plenty on hand and will gladly restock the shelves as soon as we hear from them! Don't be shy to ask... Hy-Vee is wonderful to work with and their managers are very good about restocking once the problem is brought to their attention.
We are currently unable to schedule plant or production tours as the plant is under construction with the creation of the new outlet store- please check back with us Summer 2019. Your group would always be welcome anytime to visit the factory outlet store...
Baker's Candies and Chocolates also will ship directly to you. As for a Walgreens? I'm not 100% sure if other states carry Baker's in there Walgreens. You'll have to ask.
They seem to always have plenty of wrapped seconds, but less of the much cheaper unwrapped ones which are more like thirds. Probably not an issue though unless you plan to buy more than 30-40lbs at a time though.
Yes
I know you can request a candy, but that sound like a good idea
Greenwood is the way to go. They might be cheaper there too. You can also order from their website.
Do you carry Walnettos
They don't have regularly scheduled tours, but you can call and ask to have one arranged.
There are a wide variety of chocolates, unique originals, fudge, hard candies, soft chewy candies, hard to find candies, sugar free, and many many more.
Yes! They do occasional tours of the factory!
