Note that the bridge is still closed, although the work is expected to be completed this year. November is just days away and I seriously doubt if it will be available for the public to enjoy in 2022. The promenade is a nice place to burn some calories after dinner but be prepared, there are swarms of mosquito.

I always visit the Suspension Bridge when we drive through Waco. It's just a great piece of Texas History. The park with the Cowboys and Cattle Drive sculptures are impressive and I have taken several photos over the years to depict what it must have been like to actually cross the Brazos River at this location. Read up on the history of the bridge and the cattle drives on your next trip through Waco.

We hear it will be at least mid-2022 before the renovation wraps up. So sorry.
Yes, the renovations will continue for months to come.
It is temporarily open for the Ironman race this weekend but will immediately close again for 10-12 weeks for final work.
No, it is still under construction. Should be finished sometime in the fall.
It will be sometime this year. They do not yet have a specific end date.
Unfortunately, it is an 18 month renovation project. We can’t say exactly how long it will take. Please check back later.
It may be closed off and on during the construction, as they are seemingly detouring roads randomly and without much warning. However, I think you can still reach it from the MLK side if it's not available from University Parks side.
