Very nice hot tub and pool but needs more day-use lockers. And jet controls for the hot tub should be within reach of the hot tub so I don't have to get out to turn the jets back on.

Climbing walls, huge gymnasiums! Kids pool area, hot tub, showers, lockers. More types of machines than i can pronounce! Had 3 kids bday parties there already! Everyone is happy and welcoming. Kids on climbing wall! Kids pool area! Kids swimming lessons! Kids amazed how big open feeling! Everyone i know loves the wade king rec Center. Even my mother in law!

As a student, you get your rec center usage for free with a fee, from WWU. It's always packed full of people but all the staff are nice and they are willing to help you get the correct form for any lifting and spot you when you need assistance. There are two basketball courts, one of which is split into 3 most of the hours. The pool is nice and usually not too full, and there is a huge hot tub for post workout relaxation. There is also an indoor track that runs along the top of one of the courts. The two gyms are upstairs and downstairs; the top one is usually less busy but also houses mostly machines. The bottom gym is the one that houses most of the free weight equipment. Overall, great place to work out

Pretty much everything you need to get a good workout. Olympic weight lifting platforms, moderately competitve pick-up basketball, rock climbing wall, swimming pool, indoor track, volleyball courts, hot tub, tons of stationary bikes. The hours on the weekend are pretty limited but who goes to the gym on a saturday night anyways.

Family hours are Fridays from 5-10pm, Saturdays and Sundays all day, and any time during summer quarter. I think guest passes are about 4 dollars for children, but around 9 for adults and I think you have to have a member with you to buy a daily guest pass.
There will be a rush for New Year's, but it will quiet down after a few weeks. T/Thu is a good time. The most quiet time is early morning.
It's already included in your tuition. Just swipe your student ID card and you are in. There is a quarter long class pass for all the exercise classes available that's about $45 i believe.
