The Irving Cobb bridge gets a bad name but it's not a horrible bridge unless u just dont know how to drive. I drive it twice a day to and from work with no issues. I'd much rather be on the Irving Cobb than the I24

This is everything that other people have said in regards to the white-knuckle pucker factor, which is why I give it four stars. I just drove across it this evening--it's like one of those county fair carnival rides. Take it at 25 mph, and it's not so bad.

That was the stupidest bridge ever!! Our SUV was sliding all over the lane!! We couldn't get off of it fast enough!! (And we were only driving 15mph) And the lanes are so narrow!! Thank you GPS for rerouting us...I will never trust you again!! 😵💫

Not that I am aware of. I'm sure there had to be a ferry at one time though. Call the local government and ask them. I'm sure they could give you the correct answer.
NO! That is why its closed now till November 1st, because of truckers not caring and crossing it.
