Great gym! Had a great experience here. Had to move out of state and their staff made quitting take just a few minutes over the phone--didn't have to hassle with signing forms and mail.

So disappointing that the plug was pulled on 24hr access at the Chehalis location. If you can have it in Centralia, you can have it in Chehalis. Figure it out Thorbeckes. It also makes no sense you would reduce the hours when social distancing is imperative to keep your members safe during a pandemic. Why a gym with this many members would close at 9pm is beyond me. Poor management.

I've lived in many places around the country, this gym is capitalizing on the fact that there isn't much competition in the area. The price is extremely high. I wanted to sign my daughter up for gymnastics and was told I'd need a membership to do so. When I went in to pay for both new membership for myself and gymnastics program, I was made to pay for a secondary membership for my daughter as well.... Even though she is 6 and cannot use the facility per their own guidelines and age policy. The gym shut down due to COVID mandates shortly after we signed up, I was able to use the gym for about a week before the shut down. My daughter was never able to use it or the program at all. When I called in to cancel our memberships and have hers refunded, I was told that it reoppened as a wellness center. They never contacted members to inform us of this and was told it was my responsibility to have called in to gain this information. When asked to speak to management and accounting department, I was never put in touch with either. I've called multiple times to reach out to both accounting department and management but continuously told I cannot reach these people and my information will be forwarded. Even after officially canceling our memberships, I am still being charged recurringly. Even after being told I didn't cancel in time, they still have me on recurring charges for the NEXT month. This gym is taking advantage of it's small community. As a disabled combat veteran on limited income, 150 a month is a significant amount to pay for a gym we haven't been able to use 90% of the time and why in gods name does my 6 yr old have to have her own membership on top of mine AND the gymnastics fee for a facility she isn't allowed to use. Poor business practices and no regard for the customers supporting their business. I was patient and assuming the gym would do the right thing but after speaking to multiple desk clerks with constantly getting the run around, I felt I needed to warn others. Aside from my own personal experience, the price for membership is exorbitant considering what the gym actually offers.

I purchased a trainer package for my wife with several sessions. The price was significant, and she was told that the director of fitness training would be in touch within 72 hrs to schedule a consultation. Personally, I thought 72 hrs was an exorbitant amount of wait time for such a tiny little gym, but after a week went by, with two futile phone calls to the gym by my wife, and still no word from the "director," we cancelled. A few hours after our cancellation, the director called. We maintained our cancellation. Nice work Thorbecke's.
