Very seldom does dental take new patients. My sister needed to be seen by the dental clinic because of a cancerious tumor in her mouth and was sent over to the dental clinic by her doctor in the clinic but the clinic refused to see her and said they were not taking new patients, I had an abscessed tooth and my face was swollen 5 times it's size and the dental clinic refused to see me also stating no new patients, I was in severe pain and had to beg and cry to see the dentist. We are not the only ones with horror stories. This is unacceptable treatment for anyone. good luck getting into the dental clinic.
Press zero or pound zero or star zero for the operator
it's a long waiting list unless you have certain medical conditions
It took me two years on the waitlist before I got a chart number so I can go to this Clinic. You will need your cdib and a birth certificate or Social Security card.
As long as you have your cdib I believe so!
I’m pretty sure they do but you have to start calling around 7:55am until you get an answer.
Any recognized tribe in Oklahoma can go here as far as I know. My husband is Cherokee & goes here.
Notify your Tribe affiliation and have them send you an application for Tribal inrollment for your children. In the application it will have you add you and your parents to great grandparents that links to an original roll number,. Yes contact Muskogee Creek Nation by phone or online, good luck, hope it was helpful.
It's best to call ahead so they can have it ready
You would have to go through your tribe.
You call them and ask pharmacy to set up a time for you. It's also a prompt when you call their 948-4900 #
Lines are overloaded
It's totally free for native Americans everywhere. Just start calling around 7:55am, talk to the operator and ask about starting a new chart there. :)
if you have a cdib card. you just have to call for an appt
They dont do walk in ..you have to call at 8 in the morning and a voicemail and they will call you back for same day appt
If you have chart call first thing in am. You could try during day but best to call first thing in am.
Or via fax.
They sure do! 🙂
At this clinic they only see enrolled college students, elderly people 60+ years of age (I believe), or if you're diabetic.
To the nearest ER of choice. If the hospital is not an Indian facility then within 72 hours call, I think it's called Referred Healthcare - used to be named Contract Healthcare. You can get that phone number from the Indian clinic. Otherwise you will have to pay all charges out of pocket. If you can get to the indian hospital in Ada you will have less paperwork hassles.
Probably
Probably would be a good idea to present ur tribal ID when U return for treatment. Although, since U already have a chart established, they will probably reactivate ur previous account, with the same IHS ID you had previously. They've changed the process to obtain treatment a while back.
Yes
I don't really know, do you have a chart number there? I'm sure they can help you with thing's you would need after the bore
You should call the clinic ad get a chart established. The clinic should be able to take care of your needs
Come by the Clinic at 4913 W. Reno, Okc. and ask the dental clinic.
Come into the clinic at 4913 W. Reno and talk to registration
i dont think they do. you might call them but i realy dont think so.
Yes
Contract health is a joke. My daughter broke her wrist and needed surgery to have it repaired. Because contract health couldnt get it together over there my daughter almost lost the use of her hand forever. She finally had surgery one year later. Contract health wouldnt return her calls and would hang up on her. Good luck with contract health.
I'm sure they can. If not they can refer you somewhere.
Since it's a Federally supported agency they will probably not prescribe it. On the bright side recreational looks like it will be on the ballot soon.
If you have an established chart, Seen within the year and are referred to an outside provider. Or, if you were seen in the Emergency Room within the last 48 hours and we have the Medication on Formulary.
Not at this facility. Check with larger tribal hospitals
Not really, no, you must carry a CDIB card to be treated at the Indian clinic.
All Indian clinics take a limited number of walk ins. You have to start calling early to see. Usually call around 7:55 am. My husband has had a walk in before. Just depends on the day if you can or not. Some days are too busy.
Oklahoma City Indian clinic most likely does have people they can refer you out to see. But it depends. If you’re not being seen there you have to go through a new patient process. Which clinic is closest to you & have you talked to contract health or just some “entitled operater”?
There’s a city bus drop off right by the place. I’ve seen it while sitting in the parking lot. People take it often.
It has both. Dental is very good about getting you in.
