We sure do. It is locked and secure and located on the front of our building under the mailbox. It available 24/7 for clients to drop off earnest money checks and other closing documents.
Any form of non-expired goverment issued ID is acceptable. Most clients bring a State issued driver's license or State ID. FOID cards and passports are also acceptable. All checks should be payabe to "Spears Title Company". Spears will not accept personal checks over $500 the day of closing. Anything over $500 must be in the form of certified funds. Certified funds that are acceptable the same day as closing are Cashier's Checks (Up to $49,999) and wired funds (unlimited).
Closings or in person appointments can be set from 8:00 a.m. (start time) to 4:00 p.m. (start time) Monday-Friday. Simply call or text 217-250-9709 or you can set up an appointment via spearstitle.com/contact/ on our website. This is a satellite closing office of our fully staffed main office located at 218 S. Main St., Hillsboro.
The Litchfield office will always be staffed Wednesdays of every week from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. No appointment will be required for in person visits on Wednesdays. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday in-person visits will be by appointment only. In person appointments can easily be arranged via a call or text to 217-250-9709 or via the "Contact us" tab of spearstitle.com Should you need to drop of something that is time sensitive you can drop it off at our main office located at 218 S. Main Street, Hillsboro, IL 62049 without an appointment 8-4 Monday to Friday.
