We traveled from michigan to visit the show and loved it except one thing...the food. We assumed there would be local vendors selling great food ...wrong. There were four stations of the same church selling frozen gordons food directly out of a semi truck freezer that they reheated. 8.00 sandwiches and 3 dollar waters !? And it was awful. It seemed like a complete scam. In the heat and the middle of know where you were forced to buy this junk. We left for lunch( as did many other farmers) and choked down subway and McDonald's at the local gas station and then returned to the show. Eventually we came acrossed one small station that was selling smoked meat sandwichs and did seem to be "better" but we had already eaten and the information attendant earlier in the day had told us the church stations were the only food available. Great show but for a bunch of sales people trying to sell new equipment youd think that they would offer more then overpriced microwaved gordons food " thats smoked ". Nice show, but pack a serious cooler.
