An amazing facility that was built by the US Navy during WWII to hold dirigibles that patrolled the Atlantic coast looking for German U-boats. It was purchased by TCOM, a company that makes lighter-than-air ships for the military. These helium-filled balloons are made and tested inside the enormous hanger. No photos allowed inside the building due to its military nature. Not open to the public.

Closest beach is the coastguard "beach" if you can call it that. You need to be a coastee or know someone with a military ID to go though
