My husband and I have not been to Bovines since 2018. It used to be one of our favorites, but we had a couple of inconsistent meals, and there are so many restaurants to try and enjoy in this city. And then there were the covid years... Tonight we returned to a 5 star meal. We both ordered Steak: Rib Eye ( baked sweet potato, creamed corn) and New York Strip topped with bacon wrapped scallops (sauted garlic green beans, pepper jack whipped potato's) . The service was top notch. Attentive, but not pushy or rushed. Perfectly timed pre-dinner cocktails, dinner and dessert. The food was expertly prepared. Perfectly cooked and FRESH. Steaks were nicely seasoned and tender. Side dishes were scrumptious. Definitely not an after thought! The restaurant is a bit noisy. Decor is beach, with a hip modern industrial vibe. Hence....noisy. Frankly our favorite restaurant is (was?) the Aspen Grill. But I might have a new favorite. Casual, but not sloppy. Relaxed. Comfortable. Friendly. Clean. Bright. Modern. Hip. Great date night spot. Great staff. Great food. And the view of the Marsh....♥️♥️♥️. Thanks Bovines!

Food was very good and so was our waiter. There were quite a few flys and knats flying around us while we were eating though. We could see into the kitchen from our table and saw one of the cooks licking his finger while preparing someone's order. Other kitchen staff looked rather disheveled.

Staff members temperatures are check before every shift, staff are wearing masks and we ask that our customers do too unless they are actively eating or drinking. As always, we clean each table after each use. We do have an ultraviolet light that we bought to test for germs but don't feel like it was every successful in helping us clean and sanitized.
We do not serve brunch on Sundays. We open at 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Im not sure but call and ask. Most restaurants do.

The internet shows they do, but I'm not sure if that's correct. The internet's menu is not the same as the restaurant's menu. All their food has been very good when I have dined there, just don't look at the internet menu & set your taste buds on a menu item as you might be disappointed it's no longer offered.
