We had carpet laid in two bedrooms. The two young installers were very efficient, moving and replacing furniture with care and finishing in a timely manner.

Once Patrick the sales rep made the sale he was done. No further communications. They separate the company into 3 entities, sales, customer service, and installs. They all blame each other and no one takes any responsibility. The product is decent, the installers are courteous. If you go with Empire be prepared for a Charlie Foxtrot of an experience.

Empire will install underlayment but Empire does not repair or replace subloors. Is the subfloor damaged?
