Nice park with relatively flat hiking, biking, and horse trails. A few narrow trails are for hikers only. Quite wooded, so you don't have to worry about much direct sun. By mid summer some foot traffic only trails begin to almost be overgrown by the ferns and other plants growing on either side of the narrow trail. Trails are easy for kids and dogs allowed on a leash. On nice days the small parking lot that holds maybe 20 cars max will overflow onto the nearby main road.

4 stars not for world class wilderness, but for accessibility of the feeling of being out of town and for interesting habitat as well as a fun place to get some exercise. I understand the need for multi use trails, but in practice they tend to make the experience worse for all users, but if you come here for a quick hike, there's enough options to link together little loops and mostly avoid the bikes. I didn't see any horses, and most pleasurably, no horse $?!# attracting horseflies. There are big trees, lovely flora, and enough quiet to hear the birds.

Beautiful and quiet trail. Very calm and peaceful.

Very easy hiking trails that wind around some very good foliage. Lots of people cycle through the trails so be very mindful of where you are going. There are warning signs for bears, and we saw a snake slither across the path. Not a lot of parking so you may have to park on the side of the road. The elevation gain is not much, though we only went on the Main Line, Two Trees, Red Alder, & Southern Traverse trails.

Last week we had the sheriff cruise through on patrol, so it seems they are watching the lot. There have been some break ins in the past but have not heard of any recently.
There are picnic Tables & plenty of places for Blankets on the ground.
There are signs marking which trails can have horse traffic as you work your way back into the trail system.
Not particularly, lots of roots and stuff. A off road like previous responder Said but....even then most trails are narrow and very bumpy.
