My dad was in this place and did not treat him good. His but got so raw that it was bleeding and the pain he was in messed with his breathing. Because of it he ended up back in the hospital on hospice. His organs is now shutting down and he's in congestive heart failure.

not worth a star do not put your loved one here if you get on their wrong side they will not allow you to see them. I've reported them to the state dept etc and noone cares

It’s the staff at Broadview Health & Rehab (formerly Kenton Manor) who have earned a 5-Star review from me. My family member is a long term resident and is treated with dignity, respect and patience. I’m grateful to the team of nurses, caregivers and administrators who all contribute to her well-being. The leadership at this facility has been very communicative and positive, particularly in recent years, and I believe it spills over to the entire staff. For our family, it’s all about the people.

My close friend that I caretake and serve as Medical Durable POA is currently in this facility. I have expressed concerns and my friend has expressed concerns and she is still not getting adequate care. She is left for hours every day in wet and fecal soiled briefs. When she asks for them to change her, they say, "I'll be back in a minute" and then don't come back. She is now getting a sore on her bottom as a result of this care. They get her up in the morning and then leave her for hours in soiled briefs. We have requested for them to use a bedpan or get her up to the toilet and they say, "She can go in her briefs and we will clean her up." This is not acceptable! We can't get her home because there's no home care available and there are no beds at any other facility. This is a critical problem and I have seen this same issue raised with other reviews. Somebody needs to do something to get more help for these helpless people who have no voice! This is unforgiveable! 12/232021 I have to add this onto my previous post because I am very pleased at the response I got from John Stewart, Administrator. He personally did some investigating into the recent care meeting notes, talked to staff members, and is taking action to resolve the problems we have had. This is a huge step and very much appreciated. Apparently there hasn't been total communication, so now we are hoping for some improvement!
