Very popular hipster restaurant. Best advice would be to call in and make a reservation ahead of time if you prefer indoor table service. Other options being the bar / lounge / patio which are more first come first serve. Of all the entrees I would recommend ordering the Branzino if available for the season, which was grilled to perfection and flavored nicely with lively Thai seasonings. Second recommendation would be the Sticky glazed Pork shank with tomato salad and pickled beech mushrooms, along with Hoisin + hot mustard aoli. The shank was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I would pass on the Grilled prime skirt steak based on our experience. The Sichuan peanut sauce was just too salty to the point where I could not distinguish any other flavor besides salted peanut. Their cocktails were good.

Food was pretty good but overpriced. Waiter said the best thing on the menu was the green beans, which were really salty. Felt like we were being upsold. Small portions. Pork shank was the best thing we had. Goat belly was very small. Overall good meal but not great. Overpriced for what you got. Deserts were underwhelming. The people next to us left the restaurant without eating after looking at the menu and prices.

So my 1st time eating at Girl and The Goat Restaurant in Chicago and I was totally blown away. Thank you to my son JR and his wife Pam for an awesome time in The Windy City. 10 Star!!!!!
Jules, thanks. I did eventually get in touch with the restaurant and got exactly what I needed. FYI - issuers including Amex never capture the line item details of any purchase. I work in payments, itemised receipt scan is a level of detail they have neither the capability nor need to support. Thanks for reaching back. Des
Call their management and explain the situation. They should have a record of the transaction and discuss alternatives
They accommodate all reservations the same. Regardless of reservation time
No you silly goose. Get vaccinated
You can take small children. When I was there, a couple small children were there with their families.
Check out the website
According to https://restaurant.opentable.com/news/qas/talking-shop-with-stephanie-izard-on-goat-being-recognized-at-the-airport-reasonably-authentic-chinese-food/, it's a play on her surname, Izard, which is the French name for the Pyrenean chamois, a type of mountain goat.
Very good Mediterranean food! Each dish has a great presentation complete with ingredients.
I would call, text or email the restaurant to find out. They are very accommodating.

Call and check open table. We get reservations for 6-8 much sooner than 2 months in advance but have to be flexible.
You might want to contact the restaurant directly.
No there is not. Casual would be good. I don't think shorts and sandals would be acceptable. It is dinner.
Maybe, if you go early and sit at the bar area. Otherwise, id recommend a reservation
Its pretty busy at that time but time will vary. Id suggest calling at 530 the day of and ask how long it would be
It is about a 30 minute walk or a 10 minute drive/lyft.
From our experience, it is best to start checking now. The weekend nights are very hard to get in. We always go for an early (5:30 pm) Sunday dinner.
Not 100% sure but check out their website. I think I saw something on there.
