I would like to start by saying that this is the first negative review that I have ever written, but there are way too many positive reviews given the experience I have had here. I'd like to start with the receptionist working here, specifically the man who answers the phone. I called earlier today inquiring about a bill that I received and wanted details on it, and he started yelling at me and saying that I was accusing them of being "cheaters" and stealing. Gaslighting me and talking over me nonstop. I'm not sure if he has a problem with a woman asking a question, but this is an awful and extremely unprofessional way for someone to interact with patients and any human being. This interaction left me shaking. I've interacted with the female receptionist a few times, and she's been relatively nice. I really don't understand why anyone would allow this man to answer the phones. When I attended my first appointment, I waited an hour and a half to be seen. Not ideal, but I usually don't mind waiting. However, when I went into the appointment, the OBGYN was VERY rough. She even joked about how she knew she was rough, like it was funny. My mom also attended this doctor for a check up appointment, and she experienced bleeding and pain for days afterward (just from a pap smear). When my appointment was completed, I was expecting results for the upcoming week. Instead, I received a phone call that the pap smear didn't have enough for the lab results to reflect any data. I had to go in for another appointment because of the doctor's inability to get a proper pap smear, and I was charged the cost of this follow up appointment. Again, I waited an hour and a half to be seen. I believe that this appointment was the one that I called about regarding the bill.. I should not have been charged for the doctor's inability to receive adequate pap smear results. The doctor did apologize for getting an inefficient pap smear the first time, but the fact that I was charged for this mistake, had to wait an hour and a half for both appointments and then received verbal abuse from the man on the phone when I called regarding the details of my appointment and the bill, has left me very upset. It's especially upsetting because I referred my mom to this place and they hurt her for DAYS because they couldn't take an extra 30 seconds from their day to be more gentle. Are these reviews fake? I can't believe how awful my experience has been here.

Dr Afshan Ashfaq and her team are excellent! I’ve been seeing her since earlier this year for my first pregnancy. She is very knowledgeable and takes her time to go over and explain the issues to her patients. She is very approachable and responsive over text/call even during non-working hours. Will definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

My husband and I first met Dr. Ashfaq when we learned we were pregnant with our first child and I was searching for a new doctor at the time. From day one she has been wonderful. She always made us feel comfortable and has always put my health above all else. She delivered my baby via elective C-Section this past August and made sure to continue to check in on us in the hospital and beyond. She is a consumate professional who values her patients and their family needs, and truly listens to them. She is responsive whenever needed. I highly recommend her and her services for anyone in need.

I have never had a better experience with a doctor, the office makes you feel welcomed and they are always happy to work with you. Dr. Ashfaq was not only knowledgeable, she makes you feel like family. When I became a patient she makes herself always reachable, so if I had any concerns at any time I didn’t always have to make an appointment I could just text or call her and she was always able to help. This was a true comfort when I became pregnant. I honestly think having her as my doctor made my pregnancy less stressful and more enjoyable, and they let my boyfriend into every appointment making him feel just as welcomed and part of the pregnancy. When I had concerns such as the babies movement being off, medications i was taking, or even general what to eat what not to eat questions she was able to answer over the phone or see me right away to put my mind at peace. I strongly recommend her, she not only makes you feel like family, her whole staff does. I am honestly upset that I only see her for my yearly check up again she truly is the best.
