If every complaint you receive is in regard to wait time, why don’t you do something about it??? I’m writing this after over an hour spent in the waiting room. Patients should be able to make appointments for X-rays—rather than just offering walk-ins—so that this doesn’t happen. I am genuinely baffled by how poorly this place is run.

Giving 2 stars only because the front desk and technician were both professional, helpful, and nice. The total time there was a bit long but that’s partly because I had to wait for a new referral to be faxed. They said they sent my results to the urgent care but turns out they only called (full details below). —————————— I went here on Friday around 9:30 am for a walk-in X-ray. The woman at the front desk on the main floor was very helpful and even brought the paperwork to me while I was sitting since I was on crutches. When I went upstairs, the technician came over within a couple of minutes to look at my referral. It wasn’t clear whether my foot and/or ankle needed an X-ray (the referring doctor from the nearby urgent care didn’t do a good job documenting it) so they had to get a new one faxed over. The woman on that floor was also helpful/communicative and was able to contact the doctor to send it over. The tech was great - he said that I should call the urgent care if I didn’t hear back about the results in a few hours (this gave me the impression that my X-ray results would be ready the same day). I called the urgent care later on Friday and again on Saturday but was told they had not received the results yet. I didn’t bother calling on Sunday since I knew CDR was closed. Today (Monday), I decided to call CDR instead of urgent care to get an update on the results and they informed me that they were sent over on Friday, but they would send them again that morning. I called urgent care and they said that the doctor did speak with them on Friday but they were waiting for them to send the actual physical results. —————————— It was a lot of back and forth trying to figure out who dropped the ball. I found out after about 7 calls between CDR and the urgent care that someone’s fax machine wasn’t working so that’s why it hasn’t gone through. I’m a bit disappointed that even after so many calls, they didn’t confirm with the urgent care that the results were in fact received. Eventually, they emailed them and I got my results on Monday night.

No care for patients, seems everyone there is unhappy to work there. Ask you to show up 15 mins prior to appt, then keep you waiting 30-45 mins past appt time. Stood at reception desk ignored by the TWO people chatting for 10 mins! 2nd time, thought maybe first time was an off day, but same experience. Avoid this place at all costs. Go to the radiology group Lenox Hill at 420 Madison, they actually treat you like a human being!
