It's a nice county museum. Right now there are a lot of exhibits under construction so it will be better in the future. There's no elevators for the public I relied on handrails to help me get to the second floor but they were loose.We have completed our move next door and have many new exhibits. Come again soon.

For a small museum in a tiny town- it's a good find. They have quite a few items from so many different places. Admission was reasonable (around $5). And there's a lot to see! They even have a hands on room for smaller kids. My personal favorite is the derpy taxidermy coyote.

Not a huge museum but enough to keep my 4 & 5 year old interested for a few hours. The exhibits are pretty interesting. Lots of civil war, dinosaurs, and other prehistoric animals. Also has a play room after you are done exploring which I …

Admission to the museum is Adults $5 each and 17 years and under $2 each.

I actually need a paleontologist anyway....is there one at this location?

No. It's a super small museum. If you need a paleontologist you'll need to go to the university or St. Louis.
