This place is a hidden gem. I normally come about once a month when I get the chance to fly in. It's really nice to have great food right at the airport. The staff is great.

Wow, what a find! Who knew tucked away in a back corner of this tiny airport is a gem of a place to eat! We had a burger and veggie sandwich and the triple fries. It was way too much food and tasted even better when we had the leftovers for dinner. The flight deck will make our regular rotation of dining spots as we have become permanent residents of SLT. And great value and service too.

I’d give ZERO stars if I could…My wife and I have come to this establishment numerous times pre-COVID and after at the conclusions to hikes above the airport; it’s nice and we’ve been treated courteously and promptly. Today, we had a hike and we were excited to sit out on the deck on a nice day. I walked up to the bartender and advised her (Caucasian heavyset female in her late 40’s to early 50’s with long bleached hair) that we wanted to sit out on the deck (Duh…flight deck). She was soooooo fricken rude and made a comment that we would be sitting in the sun (Duh…nice day) and I confirmed once again we had no problem sitting in the sun. When I confirmed we were happy with that, she made comments that the inside was busy, they were short staffed and she would get to us when she could in a very venomous nasty tone. Never had this response or attitude before and last time I checked…it’s the Flight Deck…not the Flight Inside or Flight Interior and coincidentally they are under new ownership. We packed our grip and went less than a mile a way to the Lake Tahoe Ale Worx at the “Y”. They were happy to see us and customer service was a 10 plus! Don’t waste your time at the Flight Inside or Flight Interior or the witch behind the bar who is toooooooo busy and stressed about customers sitting on the FLIGHT DECK to enjoy the environment! Lake Tahoe Ale Worx or South Lake Tahoe Brewing Company are a mile away…hell so is McDonalds and Subway which would be better than this dive place! NEVER going back!
