A must see for history bluffs. It details a history that is overlooked in the historical annals. The proporiter and owner is extremely knowledgeable. This museum though small provides a detailed history of proud African Americans in the service of this country on the field of battle!

Small, but full of a lot of memorabilia. The owner/curator's father was a former Buffalo Soldier, and she is trying to keep his intent alive. I've donated several Army uniform items for her to use as display material.

Without seeing the tie tack or knowing of it's origin, I would have to refer your question to one of our volunteer historians.
We are the museum and don't have any horses or access to them. Your question is better served with the Buffalo Soldiers Horsemen Association.
Buffalo Soldiers. The Black soldiers that served from the Civil war through the end of military segregation in 1951 during the Korean War. You should call them for more specifics. This is a place to ask questions of people that have visited. It's worth a visit.
