Best WIC office I’ve been to!! Outside seemed sketchy and the smell was weird but I really loved the ambiance and friendliness of the staff. I felt welcomed and cared for every step of the way!

I gave a 5 star review because of the help they do for people but in one review a person said not worth the hassle if you have other assitance well hassle with getting a job and be more appreciative of help with YOUT child

We had great experiences at the office with individual workers! Found the frustrations many families do when incomes are too high to receive benefits, but not truly high enough to cover losing your benefits due to your wage increase.

Very friendly/kind/polite/educated/professional people working here... It’s just a huge pain for me to always have to go in for everything and especially when they need you to bring in your child (children) and then you usually have to wait a good deal of time as you quietly panic thinking about all the other kids who’ve played with those toys in there and their germs that they put all over everything... Mostly it’s the Long wait times I don’t want to deal with, and when you have to keep returning to the main desk area to sit and wait some more to see the next specialty person. It’s a huge pain and really not worth the time and effort (in my opinion) especially if you receive other forms of assistance like food stamps or cash assistance. The benefits you receive on your WIC card are very limited and VERY specific... If your card is not used perfectly every single time at the store, by you and by the cashier, there’s nothing you can do about it except to cancel your items and go back downtown and get back in line at the health department. I think this is a great service for certain types of people who really need every little bit of help they can get, also if you’re needing infant formula and you don’t receive food stamps, then this program will definitely be with your time. It’s just not worth the hassle for me personally.

If you call into the office during business hours they should be able to guide you through the process. She will need to set up an appointment to go to enroll if she's qualified.
