Grand Isle fishing trip was awesome! We didn’t limit out on specs but came fairly close. Bran, our guide was amazing and worked incredibly hard to make sure we didn’t have to do much but fish! He put us on a little honey hole for trout and we didn’t have to go anywhere else to find fish! And the bonus is that we were the only boat there!! Lance was absolutely wonderful to deal with and I would totally use the Fish Commander again! Highly recommended!!!

This is the second year we’ve stayed here and I won’t stay anywhere else becoming our family tradition, my babies love it. One day I plan moving to grand isle it’s the most beautiful place in the world! The cabins are great, minutes from the beach. One day my dream is to brave my fear and go out on the charters lol So I don’t know about the fishing but if you want a place e to stay for your trip come here!!

Given one star because there is no option for less. Had a yellowfin tuna trip scheduled for 03/20/21. Absolute joke of a charter. We were told to meet at the dock at 0515 to load food/drinks and leave by 0530. We arrived at 0510, stood there and watched the captain and guide rig rods until 0600. Finally got on the boat and took off only to have a motor failure just outside the marina. We came back in and were told to wait and hot or two while they fixed the water pump. Met a local sheriff while waiting who asked who we were going with. When we said fish commander he rolled his eyes and said lots of other charters out there. We finally get back on the boat at 0800 to start our 12 hour yellowfin tuna charter. After nearly a 2 hour run (website says boats cruise at 40 in smooth water or chop) we ended up at a hump 45 miles out. Made a few passes over it trolling old plugs with almost no paint left on them and rusted hooks without a bite (shocker). Then the captain offers us to fish the rigs for vermillion snapper and grouper. We try that so we can leave with some meat instead of going home with nothing . We quickly caught our limit of vermillion (amberjack bait) and then were told it was time to head back. Never given the opportunity to target grouper. We returned to the dock at 4:30 after leaving at 8. That’s 3.5 hours short of what we paid for, and were charged full price to bring home amberjack bait that i could have caught 20-30 miles off my hometown of Tampa instead of driving 11 hours for a $2k+ boat ride. Absolutely a joke of a charter business. Stick with voo doo out of Venice if you want the trip you paid for.

Yes If the weather is bad we will try to reschedule I would never keep a deposit unless someone just didn’t show up
No. That's extra. Price of cabin was very reasonable though.
