This is the best public course in the South Puget Sound area! The practice facilities are top quality including a grass range, chipping green with a true deep bunker, and a putting green with slopes that mirror greens on the course. The restaurant menu is limited, but the food they make is some of the best food I have eaten at a golf course. Especially while sitting on the patio watching players hit their tee shots on the signature 14th hole. The golf course is very walkable. By the time you reach the third tee box you feel like you are miles from the clubhouse with views of the Olympic mountains in the distance on clear days and the Puget Sound near by. All four of the par 3's are very strong holes. Avoid the bunker in front of #4 at all costs! My favorite part of the course is the walk between #12 and #13. 12 was converted into a par three so the walk to the next tee box is through an old fairway and you can see the old green. I have often seen deer and other animals wandering through the field. Once you get to 13 you have a challenging par 4 that typically plays straight into the wind. A tee shot that finds either of the two fairway bunkers on the left guarantees a bogey or worse.

This was an amazing experience. Toughest course I've played by far! With rolling fairways and undulating greens, the key is playing the topography in your favor. Will definitely return. Really nice staff!
