What an interesting place to visit! I brought my two sons here, ages 6 and 9 and they absolutely loved this place. Our guide, I wish I could remember his name, but he was very knowledgeable. We loved learning about the history of the museum and all of the planes. And the little planes my boys were given on our way out was a special treat. They played with those first thing when they got home. Thank you! We cannot wait to come back for the grand opening. I believe it's in May. I'll bring my husband next time. Look forward to seeing the flights as well.

I stopped in at this museum on a whim after seeing the road signs on the highway. I only expected to spend 30 minutes looking around. However, I had such an amazing time talking with the volunteer tour guides that by the time I left, around two hours had passed! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and I plan to go back for one of the air shows.

What a great way to witness and experience history. The pieces in this air collection are in great shape, there are planes, vehicles, and space exhibition for the Apollo 8 mission. The artifacts that have been donated add depth to the displays that other museums don't have.

Off the beaten path Vintage Aircraft Museum. This museum used to be located in Bellingham Washington but relocated to Skagit Regional Airport. Every 2nd Saturday during the summer they have Fly Days where you can see these beautiful aircraft in action. The museum is owned by Retired Astronaut Bill Anders who was on the Apollo 8 program. Lot of great history here at this museum for all to enjoy.

We don't have a scheduled open house this year, but our Fly Days are great times to visit the museum. Remaining dates for 2022 are June 18, July 23, September 3 and September 17.
We appreciate the inquiry, but Major General Anders has officially retired and no longer gives autographs.
Google maps is HIGHLY recommended
I stayed at La Connor marina and rv resort. Nice facilities and cute historic town. Call the marina for reservations
