My doctor made an appointment to get a stress test on the 20th of September. I never received a call from Highland. I called them a week later (the 26th of September) and was told the orders were in the system and that I would get a call. I never did. I was forced to go to Slidell Memorial to have the test. Then October 19th I get a call and the lady said they tried to contact me on the the 21st of September but were unable to. I told her that I had already been to a Hospital in Slidell and had the test done. I left a complaint on line with the hospital. The 21st of October I get an email from the hospital stating that they tried to contact me on the 21st of September. Also that they would contact the staff concerned and advise them to contact the Physician if they had an issue with contacting the patient. I am sorry but a month apart on the contacts is totally NOT acceptable. This was for a stress test. It’s frightening to have a Medical Staff make false statements, be this Inept or both. What does this speak to for their care?

Kept me there way too long. Was there for 5 hours for an Albuteral treatment with only 2 patients and 6 staff. A slow as a Saturday's night you could imagine. Yet the staff, who out numbered the patients was having a great time cracking jokes and making me wait and wait while having a great ole time. Good time guys.
