The line was long but the wait wasn't. The line moved quickly. The employee i had the courtesy of her assistance was somewhat rude. But all in all it was not a terrible experience.

Why do they have to have a phone if they don't know how to answer the phone

I made an appointment about a week ahead of time, received a confirmation email along with a text reminder on the date of the appointment.. When I showed up at the scheduled time, the door was locked. It was dark inside. No one was even in the building! It was not lunch time (2:00 pm). I waiting about thirty minutes along with many others only to realize that this location was closed with no explanation.

I had no appointment so the wait was a little long (about an hour) .

There's a form your dr fills out. Bring that form in with your ID to the dmv
You can probably print it out from Louisiana office of motor vehicles website.
The Abbeville OMV does not offer motorcycle skills tests at this time. You can schedule an appointment at the Lafayette OMV for this.
Call for an appointment. Bring child's school ID, birth certificate
Schedule an appointment at www.expresslane.org.
Yes make an appointment because they are not fully open. The front waiting room is not open to the public. And good luck getting someone to actually answer the phone! And they're only open Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday and they close at 12am at my local office.
Yes you need to make an appointment. It's done online at https://local.dmv.org/louisiana/branch/office-motor-vehicles-abbeville
Abbeville DMV is still closed. I had to go to Carencro. No appointment necessary, but unless you want to wait outside, in the heat, go on a Wednesday or Thursday.
You need to call them directly. This is a place to ask the public questions about the place.
Probably best to call and ask them directly. This is more for unofficial question
Proof of residency, some kind of bill or mail with your name on it ,even if you could get your landlord to write out a statement saying you live there,,,,, hope this helps
