Thanks for your question! The Walter Anderson Museum of Art is a nationally accredited art museum dedicated to the preservation and celebration of artist-philosopher Walter Anderson. We have standing items for viewing such as our Learning Garden outside on the main campus as well as notable items related to Walter Anderson within the museum, such as his bike, skiff, and Little Room. We also have rotating exhibitions, diverse programs, and a community that is accessible for you to explore the city and culture of Ocean Springs further on your visit. For more information, visit our website: https://www.walterandersonmuseum.org/
Martha Kelly's exhibition is already open for viewing! Thursday evening's event is the opening reception to celebrate Martha and their work!
Absolutely! You are more than welcome to come at any time during the day and stay as long as you like. We have timed ticketing available for guests who would like to pre-purchase their admission. Safe travels and we will see you 3/17!
They are open on Monday's. Please check it out. You will enjoy every moment of it ☺️😉
It's now available on the website: https://www.walterandersonmuseum.org/post/this-land-following-faulkner
No. They are closed on Sunday. https://www.walterandersonmuseum.org/
Some artists works are selected by the staff and featured at the museum in special shows. You could talk to artists at the Art House in Ocean Springs about your drawings.
I would call just to be sure
Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for AAA/Students/Military/Seniors, and $5 for Children. There is a small gift shop right at the front you can look at without paying, but to actually go into the main museum you do pay admission.
You would need to speak to an art appraiser to verify
As a courtesy to your being able to pay attention to the awesome creative style exhibited, your pet, and I understand dog-love... Deserves more. Make other plans for the pets PLEASE.
