Is a diner. It's OK. All I ask for is for my food to be bright out hot. (In temperature.,) So it's not uncommon for me to tip ahead of time to insure HOT FOOD..... Rarely helps, and held true here. Should it be that difficult? Not physics. I still left a sizeable tip, but won't make a mad dash to return anytime soon. As I said, it's just a diner. (Portions were large, as typical diner-size dishes are.) OH--- and why (especially when the place was not busy at all, did the waitress ask not ONE time during the course of our meal if everything were OK? I just don't get it. $60 plus later.
