Very clean and well organized campground. Often booked up early in the season.. RVs and tent sites.. Bathrooms in great shape. No ground fires allowed.

This campground is magical. Iv been camping here since 1986. This was our family vacation spot even though we lived an hour away. The veiws the vibes it's amazing. I just turned 40 and camp all over Suffolk county. This is by far the best camp ground. But extremely hard to get a site in the peak season and can't have fires during peak season. Regardless the time of year though it's a special campground.

It's definitely possible. Because you have to make the reservation so far in advance, there are always cancellations. Check the website periodically. Reserveamerica.com.. sometimes check 2 or 3 times a day
There is surfing at Hither Hills. Most surfing is at Ditch Plains.
I believe you need to go to Reserve America site on-line, locate the campground and book from there. It is EXTREMELY competitive to get a site - they are week long bookings and they book within seconds because it is a popular campground.
Depends on site. Some are 25 some up to 40, when you go to pick a site it describes site size and Max camper size
