A real diner atmosphere, made famous in John Gardner's novel Sunlight Dialogues. Pretty much regular diner fare at affordable diner prices. Just outside is the John Gardner commemorative bench. Did I mention it is one perfect place for beef on wick.

Going downhill with all the changes they have made. New people working do it a different way that’s wrong, to most of the regulars. There is this attitude of like hurry up and eat and leave that wasn’t there before. They don’t pay attention to the details of your order anymore like they did when it was less popular. Extra crispy fries? No shot. Well done hotdog ? Nope. They are in too much of a hurry to do it right. Happened enough times the last year to make me write a review. I'm disappointed you can never sit at the nice warm counter and watch your food be cooked because they took out most of that seating, and now it's the first seats everyone chooses. So you can never sit there. Take a hint from those seats always being full.
