I can’t speak to the community pool in general but the lesson program is great. I’ve been underwhelmed by swim lesson programs at similar community-based pools and aquatics centers but have been totally impressed with the lessons here. A huge pet peeve of mine is taking my kids to a 30 minute lesson where they spend over half the time sitting on the wall watching, listening, or getting bored. That’s not happening here! If you can get your kid into lessons, it’s great! (I do agree that the online registration can be difficult). The lesson program appears well-staffed (no simple task I. 2022) with tons of young and friendly teachers. I have no doubt that they’re all good swimmers but what has impressed me the most is their ability to engage with the full spectrum of swim lesson kids- from the ones who cannon ball into the pool to the ones who want nothing to do with it. All while keeping the whole group engaged and learning. Kevin, in particular has been wonderful with one of my boys whose behavior can be challenging. No haggling or pestering or negotiating, or pleading- he just gave him encouragement, space, and patient support. It worked and now this tricky kid of mine likes swimming!? Even though most of the staff appears quite young, it’s evident that there is some great training and professional management here. It’s a breath of fresh air and an amazing asset to the community.

Used to be good but sinking downhill under the current management. Online lane reservations regularly get cancelled shortly before the appointment time and they never reimburse you for that. Staff tells you to contact the operations manager, Felipe, but this person is nowhere to be found and will not respond to any email. The pool is overcrowded with 2-3 people showing up in your "reserved lane." Instead of overbooking the pool to maximize profit, they should decline reservations when they reach capacity. There is no way to know how crowded it will be, until you are already there (assuming they didn't cancel you an hour before).

My 4 yo loved her experience here! We will be back! My only critique is that I wish lessons were about 15 minutes longer. With 4 kids per class there wasn't a on of interaction - especially fora real beginner learning to swim - and at this age there's bound to be a kid who cries or misbehaved and then that takes away from the already short class. Nevertheless My daughter loved it and that's saying a lot after a rough experience with a survival swim class that left her shell-shocked. Teacher Nicole was great.

My son loves going to Redmond Pool. The pool is very well maintained. Love the way they teach swimming. Staffs are very friendly & welcoming. Kids feel safe & enjoy the class. My daughter is super excited to start her swim class from this summer :)

There is no open swim on Wednesday, but they do have various lap swims.
