Two years ago Good Shepherd RVC ,at Mercy Hospital ,cared for my 88 year old dad and for our family. We received the ultimate in care. And they comforted each and every personality of our large family. And because my Dad , Dory Timberlake was a vet , they honored him and the family in that manner as well . I strongly recommend their services during and the aftercare for a full year after dads death. Forever grateful.

My husband came to the Rockville center, Mercy Hospital in December 22 2021 and passed January 1, 2022. I was very humble about the care he was given. I was very pleased with the facility and the nurses, outstanding.

I suggest you look elsewhere for hospice care for your loved one if they are suffering from long Covid. Anna Foskin, the nurse practitioner on duty, not only refused to read the medical records that we sent to her with regards to our loved one but then adamantly refused to note covid on the death certificate when in fact it was absolutely correct to have covid listed as a contributing factor. After a 3 month battle with Good Shepherd and as a result of my lawyer writing a letter to demand the death certificate be updated, we won the fight but I can only imagine how many other families might not have had the strength to fight. I would never ever use them again and suggest anybody looking for hospice care look elsewhere.

Do not engage their services. My mother suffered needlessly.

Good Afternoon, Kevin. Hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurances. For those without insurance, Good Shepherd Hospice may be able to provide care at reduced rates, based on financial need.
