The atmosphere was just amazing! Cozy and romantic! Their stuffed shrimp was so delicious! Succulent! I had their chowder soup and it was to die for! Then the Prime Rib. I've never had beef that melts in your mouth. Absolutely delicious! For drinks, I had the Study Mule and it was excellent! I definitely recommend this place!

What can I say about this place... great atmosphere, great owners, Waite staff, great food. From the minute you walk in the door, they treat you like family. The cocktails menu is very good, the menu is perfect. I had a blackened Mahi-Mahi unbelievable. If you want a great place to eat in the Lasalle/Peru area stop down and see Danny , Riley , Lauren and rest of the crew , u will not be disappointed.

Strong menu options, good specials, reasonably priced cocktails. Does not accept reservations, be prepared to wait on a weekend night, especially after 6pm. Friendly staff, lively atmosphere. A little dark, so you might need some readers to make it through the menu.

This is a SSC (Super Super Club)! The owners demonstrate a great effort to provide a memorable experience. Martinis are excellent, Blu Cheese olives are hand stuffed, Prime Rib was superb, Shrimp was wonderful. Even the soup (corn chowder) was great. Wish they were in my neighborhood so I could visit more often.

Years ago, in '50's & 60's, my parents took us there often. Same Xact long bar, seating was a lil different, but same space...it was couples & Families & it was called "Witzmans," or to the locals, "Witzy's," and our family Loved it! The owners were a Lovely middle-aged to up in their years, Jewish couple Adolf & "Mrs. Witzman" to us. My mother as most customers was crazy about My s Witzman's Red French salad dressing, which we always got w/"crumbles," or Blue Cheese on top. Something that when i was naive enough to ask for the henbi moved to S attle for @ most restaurants, was always told theyd n cer heatd of that, "crumbles" thing...my mom always prided herself on saying she was the ONLY person Mrs Witzman gave the recipe to. My entire family, Irish , of 8, 6 kids,...all pride ourselves in still making. It was tangy & more vinegar than the light red or awful Orange colored French salad dressings. Many goid memories thru the yrs w/so many of our church friends & LaSalle neighbors.
You should be good no reservations needed
