Notice the very few positive reviews come in a wave? Perhaps they have folks purposely leave them, otherwise this place would clearly have a ONE star at best. They are ruining lives. They will hold folks without reason, continue to keep them, using the holes in mental health "rules" to justify. They do more harm than good. It's an unbelievably terrible place. Leave the area and find somewhere else. Sadly people need help and go there with hope and leave with despair and more trauma. 😡🤬🤯

I’d give 0 stars if I could. I never met with the actual psychiatrist and from what I’ve heard of how he treats people, I’m glad I didn’t. I got yelled at by staff constantly. We weren’t allowed to go outside. There was no one on one therapy, The “groups” were a joke. You would sit there and throw a ball and say stuff you liked. Most of the time we just sat and watched tv. The staff would get mad if you asked them to print off coloring pages or worksheets. I was talking to one of the social workers and starting crying and she said “she doesn’t like crying and told me to go away from her”. The other patients would yell at you and call you names and staff would do nothing about it. They have you fill out this paper about your trauma when you come in and I hate being touched and loud noises and apparently the staff didn’t read it because they yelled at me and would grab my shoulders so much. I voluntarily went in and hated it and wanted to leave to go somewhere else and was going to sign an AMA but then was told they will just hold me involuntarily and I would have to go to court to be released. This place is horrible. It’s just like West Hills.
