This is going to be a long one Brace yourself!!! I dropped off my 08 sequoia to have the lower control arms replaced. Going off the fact that I dropped it off on Monday right when they opened, control arms showed up a few hrs later. Then I was told it would not be done till tomorrow cause the alignment tech was not in. The following morning they said that Monday eve they had to order a bolt which became bolts for the lower control arms. I called around 12 on Tuesday to see if they had arrived, no definitive answer was given called again at 2 was told that they were not ordered when I was told they were the previous day. Then they ordered them again. Finally 4 days later and my sequoia bing at the shop for 34 hrs (the open close hrs of the shop) I finally got it back. When I got home I noice that the idler control arm bolts were loose by over a half inch each. So they tightened them what I don’t understand is how they did an alignment and not notice the stability control bolts were not even close to being where they should have been. 17 hrs per lower control arm. Avoid this place at all costs no one should have to hold the hands of their mechanic while the work on your vehicle! Not only did this happen but the mechanics at Mavis tire and battery in Oak lawn are looking for a law suit! If you’re looking to die take your car there! Other pictures in comments! I really like this shop. They do pretty good work, the prices are similar to other shops in the area. The workers are kind and professional. Manny assisted me today. He referred me to a shop that could make the repairs I needed done because they couldn't do the work. I appreciate the good customer service. It's all about kindness!
