Extended Stay America - Chicago - Schaumburg - I-90

Checked in just after midnight after a long travel day. The first room we were offered hadn't been cleaned (bedding piled up on bed, dirty towels on floor in bathroom). The second room we were offered was already occupied when we went in. On way to 3rd room there were two rooms with stickers on the door declaring "No Trespassing by order of the Sheriff's Department". Immediately left and will never return.

I booked this hotel for my son and since he needed to check-in late around 11pm, I called to make sure they don't give away his room. Sure enough they gave his room away when my son was there, they told my son they don't have a room for him. And they sent him to a different location extended stay and charged MORE than original rate even that was their fault to give his room away. Also, front desk people told him, in this location, he is not allowed to check-in since my son is 20 years old not 21years. I had to drive all the way to his hotel one hour in the middle of thunderstorm and one hour back to just check him in. If they didn't give away his room, non of this should be happened. He wasn't only one who did not have a room even they made a reservation. What is reservation is for then? Is it company policy to overbook more than it's capacity and send it to a different location and charge more?

The Extended Stay on Roselle Rd in Schaumburg was fantastic. It was the perfect option while I need a little time to find a permanent place. My room was very comfortable and was a PERFECT PLACE to work from him. I loved the roomy table I was able to work from because I need a lot of room. And it was nice and quite so I could really concentrate. The manager Syed is the genuinely nicest person ever. He was always available to answer a question, and always worked with me. I always very very safe and in good hands knowing Syed was charge. It was refreshing to know he had been there so many years. And there is no problem he not resolve. He is just a great man of great integrity. Additionally, the cleaning staff was warm and friendly. And the other guests always seemed warm and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

It's close to the tollway exit. The room was large and comfortable. TV worked. It had a full refrigerator/freezer. Microwave and a cook top. There was a laundry room. I was very pleased and will make them my preferred hotels. Especially if the other locations are just as good.
