Fantastic station that has really deep roots in the NY area jazz community and uses them to listeners' advantage. As a NY/NJ native, have listened for decades, from near and afar. Simply one of the world's top jazz stations that knows how to celebrate the music and the artists.

Today, 6/18/18, on WBGO, 88.3 FM, ALL that I'm hearing is NPR "news" all morning -- no music and no familiar hosts -- just NPR nonsense (i.e. this morning it was a woman and her DNA testing story) -- what happened to the music?

NPR comes on at the top of the hour...6-9am, weekdays with music in between.
