I'm disabled and sometimes get packages from the mailman that need to be signed for. You would think he'd bring my mail to the door with the package, no I have to also go out to the mailbox and get the mail. I asked him one time he came to my door if I had any mail so I would know to go out to the mailbox and get it. We'll, he got all frustrated and mad that I asked.

They take their sweet time doing everything. My package sat at the post office for three days before they decided to process it.

You can do it online. Google usps mail hold. They allow a hold up to 30 days
Possibly a reprint of the receipt. If they can do that.
