What I’m liking about D9 is that they have speciality coffees and tea from 12pm-4pm. The barista makes many of their flavored simple syrups from scratch, and the chocolate syrup is homemade as well. When you visit you’ll be able to tell how much thought is going into the coffee and tea selection. If you want something that some of the other breweries around lack, and the coffee shops are too overcrowded w/ younger, rowdier groups around, then check out D9 in the early afternoon. This is where I would be taking a friend for a good conversation. D9 is clean, quiet, and the coffee barista is a fun and interesting guy.

1 of my favorites, but disappointing visit. Fell in love with D9 from a far after having many of their excellent farmhouse ales - mostly brett brews. This taproom offered next to none of these styles. I'm sure it is catering to local tastes and brett is very much an acquired taste and evidently not in great demand here. Seems odd that in order to continue to enjoy the best this brewery has to offer I must do it away from the brewery.

I went to the Apple Festival with my friends and family we wanted some beers and coffee. We walked to the bartender, I asked her for a sample of one of their IPAs and she said “we do not do any samples” we ask for her for a Chai tea she said “we are not doing any teas or coffees” so, we still order our beers no problem. While we were drinking our beers a couple walked in and ask the bartender for some samples, she immediately gave the samples to them! I wanted to finish my beer and walk out of the place! Some how I felt like the Bartender at D9 Brewing DID NOT treated me and my family EQUAL! Now this is bad business for the owner because now if anybody asked me about “D9 Brewing Hendersonville” I will tell them my experience and more likely wouldn’t come back to this place.
