If you have never had a heart scan, we understand that you may be anxious. Rest assured that we are here to listen and deliver compassionate care that puts you at ease. When having a heart screening, you should not consume caffeine or decaffeinated products, smoke, or consume chocolate at least 12 hours prior to the testing. We’re here to answer any questions you have while preparing for a heart scan appointment.

After your screening, talk with your primary care doctor about your results and about the changes you can make to improve your heart health.
