I went here once and loved it and loved the way people acted and treated you nicely and in a historical way so you could learn a lot being here about the time frame they are doing and teaching

Had a great time and learned alot about the time period in East Tennessee. The volunteers were quite knowledgeable and entertaining. I would recommend the stop to anyone in the area who enjoys history.

This places gives you a glimpse of what life was like in the past. They do their best to make it as accurate as possible. This means, some of the buildings don't have electricity and running water. I love how they involve visitors with the chores that had to be done at the time. It's really an immersive experience. Can't wait to visit another one of their festivals.

It was fun and very interesting. The people were very knowledgeable about the history of this place. Learned a lot and got to watch while they made apple butter and apple cider

Yes. Ticket counter just inside.
Maybe because there are lots of mountains and they are rocky
There are some paths and buildings that could be accessed, but not paved pathways all the way. Some stairs with no wheelchair access.
